Kyle and I met in 7th grade, starting dating in 11th, and have been inseparable ever since. We were married December 6, 2009 and just one month after we exchanged vows we were off to start a new life together. We lived on the Caribbean island of Dominica while Kyle attended his first 2 years of medical school. This blog started as “You, Me, and a Banana Tree”, a chronicle of our island adventure. Now, we’re back in the states moving here, there, and everywhere while Kyle prepares for the boards and completes his clinical rotations. We are both as happy as can be as long a we’re together. You could say we’re “Happily Hickman”.
